Legal information
Terms and conditions
These terms explain the rules for using BlinkBetter Trade, applying for a trade or professional account and requesting samples.
Last updated: 11 August 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to the BlinkBetter Trade website, public application routes, professional sample route and account areas operated by AND Healthcare Ltd. BlinkBetter is a trademark owned by AND Healthcare Ltd, which supplies BlinkBetter products through BlinkBetter Trade.
They apply alongside any specific terms shown at the point of an application, sample request, order or payment. The BlinkBetter Wholesale Terms contain the commercial rules for approved trade supply. If a written order or specific commercial agreement conflicts with these website terms, the specific agreement applies to that transaction.
2. Who we are and how to contact us
AND Healthcare Ltd is responsible for this service. Contact the trade team at trade@andhealthcare.co.uk.
3. Applications and account approval
- You must provide information that is accurate, current and complete, and update it when it changes.
- A trade application does not itself create a trade account, grant wholesale pricing or permit ordering. Access begins only when we confirm approval.
- A professional application does not itself create an active sign-in. We review the professional details and sample request together and decide whether to approve them.
- We may ask for further information or decline an application where eligibility, verification, stock, security or legal requirements are not met.
Where we decline a request, we will communicate the decision and any appropriate next step. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be removed.
4. Professional samples
Professional sample boxes are intended for eligible optometrists, optometry students and other professionals accepted through the professional review process. We may set reasonable sample-box and frequency limits, and approval is subject to availability and verification.
- Samples must be requested for the professional or educational purpose described on the route and must not be resold, distributed or represented as wholesale supply.
- You are responsible for providing a safe and deliverable address and for checking product labelling and instructions before use.
- A sample request is not a promise of future stock, trade approval or wholesale access.
5. Trade ordering and payment
Only approved trade customers may access trade pricing and ordering features. An order request is subject to our review and is not accepted until we confirm the order or issue the applicable proforma.
Payment, delivery, sales channels, returns, resale restrictions and other commercial rules are set out in the Wholesale Terms and any transaction-specific information. Payment must be received in the agreed cleared form before dispatch where the applicable terms require it.
6. Keeping an account secure
Keep your password, activation links, two-factor codes and recovery information private. Do not share a login or allow another person to use your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may require a password reset, additional verification or temporary suspension where needed to protect an account or the service.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, submit malicious code, impersonate another person, scrape restricted data, or use an account or sample route for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purposes. You must have permission to submit information on behalf of a business or organisation.
8. Website content and product information
BlinkBetter, its content, branding and materials are owned by or licensed to AND Healthcare Ltd. You may view and use the site for its intended trade or professional purpose, but must not copy, alter, republish or commercially exploit material without permission.
Product information on the site is provided for general information and does not replace the product labelling, instructions or professional judgement. It is not medical advice. Follow the applicable product instructions and seek appropriate clinical advice where needed.
9. Availability and suspension
We may change, maintain or temporarily suspend parts of the site for security, legal, operational or technical reasons. We will take reasonable steps to restore services and communicate material issues where practical.
We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe there is fraud, misuse, a security risk, a serious breach of these terms or a legal requirement. We will consider the circumstances and any legitimate information you provide.
10. Responsibility and legal rights
We are responsible for providing the site and any agreed services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, faulty or misdescribed goods, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
If you are a consumer in a situation where consumer law applies, these terms do not reduce your mandatory legal rights. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the site, law or services. We will publish the latest version and update the date above. A change will not retrospectively alter an order or agreement already accepted unless the law or that agreement allows it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that mandatory protections may give a consumer the right to bring a claim in another part of the UK or their home jurisdiction.
13. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy notice explains how personal information is used. Our Cookies policy explains the essential session cookies and browser storage used by the site.
