Cookies and browser storage

This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage used by BlinkBetter Trade, operated by AND Healthcare Ltd.

Last updated: 11 August 2026

In brief

We currently use first-party session cookies and limited browser storage for account security and features you have asked to use. We do not currently set analytics, advertising, social-media or behavioural-tracking cookies.

Because the current cookies are essential to provide requested sign-in and security features, we do not show an opt-in banner for them. If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will ask for consent before setting them.

Cookies we use

NamePurposeDurationType
bb_sessionKeeps an authenticated trade or professional account signed in and supports server-side session security.Up to 14 daysFirst-party, essential
bb_2fa_pendingTemporarily remembers that a password check has passed while two-factor verification is completed.Up to 10 minutesFirst-party, essential

Both cookies are HttpOnly, use SameSite protection and are marked Secure in production. They are not used for advertising or analytics.

Similar browser storage

Some features use browser storage rather than cookies:

  • Trade application draft: the application form can save the details you have entered on that device for up to seven days after your latest edit. The form explains this and provides a “Discard draft” control. The application still works if browser storage is unavailable.
  • Admin preferences: signed-in administrators may have navigation, recent-search and notification preferences stored locally in the browser. These are used only to keep the admin interface consistent on that device.

Browser storage is not sent to BlinkBetter as a separate tracking feed. Clearing site data or using private browsing removes or limits these local preferences and drafts.

Your choices

You can clear or block cookies and browser storage using your browser settings. Blocking bb_session or bb_2fa_pending may prevent sign-in or two-factor verification. Blocking local storage may prevent an unfinished application draft or admin preference from being restored, but does not stop the application from being submitted.

We will not rely on continued browsing, silence or a pre-ticked control as consent for any future non-essential cookie. Any optional analytics, advertising or similar technology will be separately described and controlled by an active consent choice.
